A lovely 2 bed, 2 bath air conditioned country house with lots of charm. It is simply furnished in traditional rustic style and situated amidst beautiful olive & citrus groves. The garden has its own fig trees, you are welcome to pick, in season (delicious with yogurt and honey for breakfast).

The house offers wonderful views of the surrounding countryside has great views down the valley towards the sea. Yet, situated only 8 km /20-25 mins drive by car from Frigiliana, it’s village centre accessed via a good country track (flat but a little bumpy) and concrete roads.

Accommodation

The accommodation (all situated on one level) comprises; 2 beds (1 double, 1 twin single), large salon with dining area TV (English language channels), Internet (free), 2 facing sofas, dining area, open plan kitchen and 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite).

The Master Bedroom has air conditioning installed.

The villa has a great terraced area to the front by with the pool. To the rear, in the shade, is a summer kitchen and barbecue.

The open plan living offers a good sized salon and dining area, (however during the Summer life here tends to revolve around the outdoors). A simple but very usable kitchen area, 2 bedrooms (1 double and one twin) two bathrooms, (1 with bath, the other shower room only).

Outside

Terraces surround the property giving the choice of all day sun bathing or relaxing in the shade during the hottest part of the day.

Fantastic views to mountains and sea.

OverView

This house is a little rustic, but clean and tidy, a good sized unit for a family holiday. 
We feel the prices honestly reflect this. 
The villa is ideal if you want to be outside but near Frigiliana. Maintaining the benefits of: private pool, parking and no direct neighbours. It’s easy to drive from here to: Torrox, Nerja or use the villa as a base to explore Andalucía. Situated close to the village and you can travel (car) to the local villages of Competa, Canillas, Archez or Sialonga. Alternatively, just stay at home with a glass of sangria, soak up the sun and relax next to the pool.

Outside Area: Private pool (5 x 3 meters). At its deepest the pool is 1.75 meters and at its shallowest 1.25 meters. Numerous terraces, sun beds, parasols, a brick built BBQ and sink. Secure parking and furniture for al-fresco dining during those balmy summer evenings.

The walks around the villa are the area of Maorin there’s 2 local restaurants and Caracoles hotel, but not really close enough to walk at night (25 mins walk, 5-10 mins drive)
It’s a short drive over the hill to the village of Acebuchal 35-40 minutes (10 mins drive). A 10 minutes drive to the caracoles hotel and/or on to torrox (30 mins drive) all lovely, but not highly recommended as walks in the Summer heat.

The main road towards the house from frigiliana goes towards torrox pueblo and is part of the “puerta verde” route of walks, (medium – hard walk).

There is off-street parking for about 3 cars.

• All prices are for 7 nights (minimum). Payments only accepted in Euros €
• Entry is post 2pm on day of arrival, exit by 10am on day of leaving. If you require an early arrival or late exit, you must ask and have it confirmed by us in advance.
• If the Villa is used by 7 persons a 10€ per night Supplement is added and €15 per night in July or August
• Booking Fee : All prices are subject to a 5% booking fee. From that, we pay taxes & VAT - we also don't like to charge, but the government want their cut, sorry!
• Bookings are Saturday - Saturday from March through to November, other entry exit days may be accepted, but please check with us first.
