A villa in frigiliana?

Just 1.4 Km outside of Frigiliana up “lomo de los peros”, sits los Madroños. A large 4 bedroom country house with fabulous views, down to frigiliana and beyond to Nerja and the sea. The villa overlooks 360 degrees of countryside, the mountains, the natural park and is 5 minutes drive (21 minutes walk) from Frigiliana.

This villa, los Madroños sits high on a hill overlooking the village and is a great four bedroom family home, it has good terraces a nice pool, great accommodation throughout and is a fabulous place to stay, for a family or a group of friends on vacation in this area. The accommodation is all on one floor, self contained in it’s own private gardens, loads of private parking and has a 10x 5m pool (with roman steps).

What’s this villa like, inside?

Inside, the accommodation, all on one floor consists of; a great sized salon/dining room and separated kitchen.
The main salon has a 3 sofas centred around an open fire and a 32″ Plasma TV with Spanish digi box (original English programs available). The dining area with seating and space for 8 sits at the other end of the salon overlooking the terrace and countryside views.
Mostly in Summer guests take food outside to dine al fresco on the shaded terrace overlooking the mountains. The front terrace has seating for around 10-12 comfortably.

The kitchen, is a good size, perfect for a family. It’s fully equipped; fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher oven.. all the conveniences of home. Also, the kitchen has a small 3 seat table, ideal for breakfasts / quick snacks without having to sit formally or outside.

There are four (4) bedrooms, 2 with double bed and 2 with twin singles.. all the bedrooms are a good size, spotlessly clean and plenty of storage space. There are also, 2 full bathrooms, 1 with bath / shower, toilet and sink, the other shower, toilet and sink.

Outside, the pool etc.?

The swimming pool is on a short path (7 steps) up from the house and is a 10 x 5 meter “L” shaped pool, with roman steps, it’s accessible for all. The pool surrounded by plenty of sun beds, seating and shade off parasols. Most importantly, the pool area is surrounded by an avocado orchard, so private, natural and both sun and shade available countryside, mountain and sea views beyond.

Back at the house on the terrace (adjacent to the table and chairs) is an proper brick built barbecue and outside kitchen with sink.

This villa’s location is ideal to visit and holiday in Frigiliana, but also if you want peace and quite countryside and private location, even better if you feel the need to be part of Nerja and it’s nightlife and buzz, it’s easily accessible. From this villa, within 6 minutes walk are two fabulous restaurants, El Cerro’s with it’s rustic charm and the hotel Posada Morisca, or 6 minutes more, the newly re-opened Mirador de Santa Cristo

• All prices are for 7 nights (minimum). Payments only accepted in Euros €
• Entry is post 2pm on day of arrival, exit by 10am on day of leaving. If you require an early arrival or late exit, you must ask and have it confirmed by us in advance.
• If the Villa is used by 7 persons a 10€ per night Supplement is added and €15 per night in July or August
• Booking Fee : All prices are subject to a 5% booking fee. From that, we pay taxes & VAT - we also don't like to charge, but the government want their cut, sorry!
• Bookings are Saturday - Saturday from March through to November, other entry exit days may be accepted, but please check with us first.
