It’s actually rare to find a really nice 1 bedroom country cortijo in a quiet rural location with great panoramic views of frigiliana.

With Cortijo de Edu the villa is really nice and the views are spectacular with the mountains behind frigiliana and views down to the nerja and the sea.
It takes 10-12 minutes to drive back down to the village, but (apart from 50m) it’s all good concreted roads.

The cortijo is situated on the hill’s beyond frigiliana on route to torrox, but still in frigiliana municipal.
Leaving the village towards torrox pueblo there’s a clearly marked left turn, then a steady (good road) down to the villa.
Access is concreted roads bar 2 minutes drive on smooth flat track.
The house when you arrive is a very comfortable 1 bed cortijo, quiet, peaceful, surrounded by natural countryside with outstanding views.
The accommodation is on two levels, and is perfect for 2 persons, with: air conditioned double bedroom, en suit bathroom, large salon / dining room, good kitchen
downstairs family bathroom, great outside terraces with private pool, outside Summer kitchen and a further outside w.c.

How is the villa?

The villa has been tastefully furnished in a modern take on traditional Andalucian style,
it’s a delightful space to spend time; peaceful & comfortable.

The front door leads into a comfortable salon with ample seating and large (max.6) dining table and chairs,
to the rear of the salon / dining area is a bright modern kitchen.

Internal

The kitchen is well fitted; sink, hob, microwave, (washing machine outside), fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle etc.

Family shower room, to the rear of the house.

Living area has Spanish TV (so some English language programs), a quality stereo system and free WiFi.

Access to: the master bedroom, and en suit bathroom is off the salon.

The pool is 6m x 4m (aprox) and sits in large private gardens to the side of the house.
The Outside terrace has easy parking for upto 4 cars and access for the Summer Kitchen, barbecue and outside w.c.

This is a lovely country cottage and perfect for a couple for a romantic getaway or a chill / relaxing break

• All prices are for 7 nights (minimum). Payments only accepted in Euros €
• Entry is post 2pm on day of arrival, exit by 10am on day of leaving. If you require an early arrival or late exit, you must ask and have it confirmed by us in advance.
• If the Villa is used by 7 persons a 10€ per night Supplement is added and €15 per night in July or August
• Booking Fee : All prices are subject to a 5% booking fee. From that, we pay taxes & VAT - we also don't like to charge, but the government want their cut, sorry!
• Bookings are Saturday - Saturday from March through to November, other entry exit days may be accepted, but please check with us first.

The house is about 11 minutes drive from Frigiliana, whilst a little far, the views from the villa are stunning, from Acebuchal to Maro (frigiliana included) and with the sun and shadow the outlook is a ever changing canvas, quite outstanding
