This villa is a delightful and extremely pretty 3 bed country house. It nestles on the natural park of the Sierra Almijara, the mountain range north of the Frigiliana countryside.
The villa sits in its own beautiful enclosed gardens. This means you get stunning mountain and sea views from its many terraces. The villa offers peace and tranquillity although situated only 4 km/ 7-minute drive from Frigiliana. Access is good concrete and tarmacadam roads, so the village is easy to get to.
Build
La Molina was recently built and is extremely well maintained. It is furnished to a great standard in a rustic style, typical of this region of Andalusia.
The living space is open plan, the salon is bright and airy with dining area for 6, so plenty of room for all to eat and views down the valley towards the sea from the front windows. There is a wood burner for chilly winter evenings, TV is installed, Spanish TV and European satellite with English channels and the ability to change language on digital TV back to the original sound, therefore you’ll always find something to watch and listen to in English. Free WiFi is provided at this villa.
There are 3 good sized bedrooms. The master double also leads via patio doors, directly onto the front terrace so romantic drinks at night outside your room? Both the two twin rooms are to the rear of the house, so they’re safe for children. All bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space, there are 2 bathrooms.
Separated by breakfast bar there’s a well-equipped kitchen area with oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The washing machine is housed outside, which means no noise indoors, especially for overnight washes.
Outside
To the rear of the villa is a good sized pool (7 x 4 meters) enclosed and gated (1.50 at the deep end and 1.10 shallow). There are roman stairs which make access easy. The stairs are great for children and around the pool, there are pretty sun terraces and loungers, therefore plenty of places for sunbathing and relaxing.
There is a large shaded summer kitchen with built-in BBQ furnished for al-fresco dining, so sit out, eat and enjoy. The villa has a wrap around veranda offering the choice of mountain or sea views. Private parking is provided to the front of the house, so your rented vehicle is locked away safe.
Villa La Molina is ideally situated for exploring the lovely Moorish village of Frigiliana.
Nerja and its beaches can be reached in around 15 minutes.
