Located 15 minutes out of Frigiliana.

It is an easy drive on the well serviced road in to the village for an evening (11 minutes), or for days out to Nerja (16-20 minutes) or beyond. For those days at home, around the pool, loungers and Jacuzzi, peace, quiet and solitude, all available at Casa Carlos. Towards Acebuchal, at the end of a concreted road sits the villa a private, detached 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom country house, which is beautifully furnished and decorated, truly this feels like a home away from home. Everything is already here for a fabulous Summer vacation, the villa sits on the brow of a hill just over 3 miles from Frigiliana, it has stunning views back to: Competa, Torrox and across the Andalusian countryside.

With three bedrooms (2x double & 1x triple single) and two bathrooms, great salon, modern fully-fitted kitchen and fabulous outside space, this is ideal holiday home for a family or a group of friends. The villa has air conditioning, internet and English language TV. In addition to the accommodation on various levels, this villa has; separate shaded terraces to front, side and rear, fabulous outside kitchen with brick barbecue with fridge and sink, worktops, seating area, a great rear garden with table tennis and pergola and to the front of the villa a large lawn surrounded pool, separate Jacuzzi, loads of loungers and lounging space and private off-street parking.

This villa is not short on accommodation.

Enter via private gates off the street (quite country lane) or in via the private drive-way (room for 2+ cars), walk through the gardens up to the villa via the pathway past the grassed area surrounding the pool (8 x 5 mtr) and Jacuzzi towards either the front sun-terrace with shade or the al-fresco dining area or the outside shaded external kitchen with sink, fridge, barbecue, work-surfaces, stools etc. To the left of the house and beyond is the rear sun terraces pergola, ping-pong table and further private gardens.

The front door of the villa leads into a spacious salon, two 3 seat sofas, centred on the fireplace, there’s a spacious dining area and a separated American galley style kitchen to the right. The house, beautifully furnished in a typical Spanish rustic style with air conditioning for summer cold air or winter warmth. The two 3-seat sofas face each other in the salon area. There is stereo both European and UK satellite TV with some programmes in English. The dining area is plentiful for 6 people, and the kitchen is well equipped with hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine etc. Both double bedrooms and the triple sit raised to the rear of the house with access to the family bathroom (bath/shower, sink and toilet), they share a really powerful 2nd air conditioning unit located in the hallway, which adequately manages to cool all the bedrooms. The second bathroom (shower, sink and toilet) is to the front of the villa off the salon. This house is an ideal location if you want to visit Frigiliana, a base to explore Andalucía, or the route of wine, travel to the local villages of Competa, Torrox or Nerja or just stay at home with a glass of sangria, soak up the sun and relax next to the pool.

Around the Villa.

The walks around cortijo carlos lead themselves to the village of acebuchal 25-40 minutes.  pedregal (an old area of frigiliana) 20-30 minutes, or back to cuatro caminos and on towards frigiliana (1+ hour) all lovely, perhaps not recommended in the Summer heat! The lane takes you down into the baranca towards Competa and is part of the “puerta verde” route of walks, (medium – hard walk).Mostly from Casa Carlos, you’re most likely to bump into Paco a mule man or Placido the goat herder, both of whom will give you a warm greetings typical of the people of this region.

• All prices are for 7 nights (minimum). Payments only accepted in Euros €
• Entry is post 2pm on day of arrival, exit by 10am on day of leaving. If you require an early arrival or late exit, you must ask and have it confirmed by us in advance.
• If the Villa is used by 7 persons a 10€ per night Supplement is added and €15 per night in July or August
• Booking Fee : All prices are subject to a 5% booking fee. From that, we pay taxes & VAT - we also don't like to charge, but the government want their cut, sorry!
• Bookings are Saturday - Saturday from March through to November, other entry exit days may be accepted, but please check with us first.
