Frigiliana is 60 kms east of Malaga. Malaga International airport -Aeroporto Pablo Picasso - has regular international services to and from all parts of the world. To get to Frigiliana you can hire a car, take a taxi or use the excellent public transport system. If travelling by car use the newly opened Autovia del Mediterraneo. The journey from the airport now takes around 40 minutes. On leaving the airport you need to take the route signposted Ronda de Malaga in the direction of Seville, Granada and Almeria. After a few miles the road divides, one way for Granada and Seville and the other for Almeria. You take the Almeria route. This leads you on to the Autovia del Mediterraneo which now takes you the whole way to the Nerja/Frigiliana junction J292. At Nerja take the road to Frigiliana and follow this winding mountain road for approximately four kilometres unitl you get to the town. Follow instructions that will be provided for you, for aspecific meeting place
If travelling by bus you will need to alight at Nerja and take one of the regular buses that serve the town of Frigiliana on the hour, except on Sunday when you will need a taxi.
A taxi from the airport will cost about Euro 90.
