Drive out of Frigiliana towards Acebuchal, and at the end of a concreted road sits lolona a private, detached 3 bedroom villa, which
has been beautifully furnished and decorated, this truly feels like home. There's everything here already for a fabulous Summer vacation.
This villa is set on the brow of a hill just over 3 miles from Frigiliana, it has stunning views back to:
Competa, Torrox and the Andalucian countryside.

With three bedrooms (2x double & 1x triple single) and two bathrooms, great salon, modern fully-fitted kitchen, 2 bathrooms
and fabulous outside space, this is ideal holiday home for a family or a group of friends.

The accommodation is on various levels, it has; shaded terraces to front and side, outside kitchen with brick barbecue and full outside kitchen,
a great rear garden with table tennis and a pergola, a large lawn surrounded pool, private off-street parking.

This villa is not short on accommodation:

Enter via private gates off the street (quite country lane) or in via the private drive-way (room for 2+ cars), walk through the gardens down to the villa via the pathway past the grassed area surrounding the pool (8 x 4.5m) towards either the front sun-terrace with shade or the al-fresco dining area or the outside shaded external kitchen with sink, fridge, barbecue, work-surfaces, stools etc. To the left of the house and beyond is the rear sun terraces pergola, ping-pong table and further private gardens.

The front door of the villa leads into a spacious salon, with dining area and American galley style kitchen to the right.

The house has been beautifully furnished in a typical Spanish rustic style with air conditioning for Summer cold air or Winter warmth. Two
3-seater sofas face each other in the salon area. There is stereo both European and UK satellite TV with freeview channels in English.
The dining area is plentiful for 6 people, and the kitchen is well equipped with hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine etc.

Both double bedrooms and the triple sit raised to the rear of the house with access to the family bathroom, the second bathroom (shower only)
is to the front of the villa off the salon. This house is an ideal location if you want to visit Frigiliana, a base to explore Andalucía, or the route of wine, travel to the local villages of Competa,
Torrox or Nerja or just stay at home with a glass of sangria, soak up the sun and relax next to the pool.

The walks around casa lolona take in the village of Acebuchal 25-40 minutes, pedregal (an old area of frigiliana) 20-30 minutes or back to cuatro caminos and on to frigiliana itself (1+ hour) all lovely, but not recommended in the Summer heat. The lane takes you down into the baranca towards Competa and is part of the "puerta verde" route of walks, (medium - hard walk). Mostly your more likely to bump into Paco a mule man or Placido the goat herder, both of whom will give you a warm greetings typical of the people of this region.
