From Granada Airport take the A92 towards GRANADA, to pick up the N-323 towards MOTRIL / SALOBRENA.
At the end of the N-323 @ SALOBRENA take the N340 westbound towards MALAGA until you reach the motorway E15, A7 continue towards MALAGA but exit at Junction 292, the 2nd exit you get to
(from then on follow the instructions below FROM JUNCTION 292)
Coming from MALAGA Airport leave following the signs for the the N340 Malaga Centro (San Miguel Factory on your right),
go straight over the roundabout and GET IN THE LEFT LANE (of the 2 travelling west, not into the oncoming traffic!) over the bridge, the road turns 270o right and filters onto the N340.
After 2Km move to the right for the exit marked ALMERIA A7, CORDOBA, SEVILLA and GRANADA (E15, A7) take this exit again making a 270o right turn and feed on to the (E15, A7) motorway towards MOTRIL/ALMERIA.
Follow the signs for MOTRIL/ALMERIA staying on the E15, A7 travelling east (with the sea to your right). You need to travel around 60Km on this motorway as long as the exit numbers are increasing your heading in the right direction.
FROM JUNCTION 292
At Exit 292, signposted Nerja/Frigiliana take the Frigiliana road northbound, away from the coast.
At this point your about 10 minutes away, so please phone us so we can come to meet you.
Follow this road for approx 4Km, weaving up the hill ignoring any turnings, including the entrance to the new village at the roundabout (signposted Frigiliana Nuevo ) so take the 2nd exit.
Carry straight on down the by-pass road to a give way “T junction” just after the Frigiliana Hotel.
Turn left, (the road from the right drops down sharply from the right also there is a play park in front).
Follow this road around the front of the village for 1Km, after the school & sports centre on your left (only buildings on the left) the road bends to the right and on your right, there's a single house then a long high wall before you reach Edificio La Canada with a set of stairs just after which lead up in to the old village. Just before the stairs and on the bottom of the Edificio is the Restaurant Espateros. (it's a good one too!) Please park up as near to the stairs as you can, (not in front of any garage entrances - you'll get a ticket) and providing we know what colour and type of car your in, we'll be the strangers walking towards you. |
