Cortijo Placido; a traditional rustic cortijo can be found nestling quietly in a pretty valley surrounded by avocado orchards and olive
groves
in the beautiful Frigiliana countryside a 7 minute drive
from the village.
The house is approached via a winding country lane
passing beautiful local scenery on the way.
This house offers superb
views back to the village of Frigiliana and the hills of the Sierra
Almijara mountain range.
Nerja and its beaches can be reached in around10 minutes.
Cortijo Placido
is a compact detached villa which sits in its own grounds and provides
the perfect retreat for a relaxing holiday
and a great base from which
to explore Andalucía and the beautifully rugged region of the eastern
Costa Del Sol.
The location could not
be better with a recently concreted road leading down to the house (bar
the last 200 metres which is a acceptable track)
which provides easy
access to the historic village of Frigiliana, the resort town of Nerja
and its beaches,
the famous caves in Maro and Granada and the wonderful
Alhambra Palace.
From the house there are
a number of interesting walks in which to enjoy the wonderful and ever
changing landscape.
This is a nice house in a pretty location with a lovely
pool (7x4m) and fabulous sun terraces.

Life revolves around the outdoors in Spain and Cortijo Placido is no exception
with a lovely pool with plenty of sun decks
for relaxing and sunbathing
and a large shaded front terrace provided with outdoor furniture for al
fresco dining.
The house also comes complete with a built in BBQ area. Private
parking is at the side of the house in the shade of the avocado orchards.
Cortijo Placido has been simply furnished in a rustic
style typical of the local houses in the area.
There are 2 good sized bedrooms
(one double - one twin). A family bathroom with bath and overhead shower.
A well equipped kitchen with oven and hob, a microwave, fridge/freezer
The front door leads directly into the lounge/diner
which is small but cosy.
The house has been furnished in a simple rustic
style and for winter evenings a log fire provides warmth and comfort.

This house is an ideal location for those looking to relax and unwind from
the stresses of modern working
life whilst soaking up the sun with a good
book and a glass of Sangria. But being only 15 minutes away from
the centre
of Frigiliana and 10 minutes from bustling Nerja its a great base for exploring
and sampling all that the area has to offer.
