	3 bed countryside villa - sleeps 6 La Molineta between Frigiliana and Nerja

Between Frigiliana and Nerja, sits La Molineta a small hamlet of houses including 2 historic watermills on a hillside on the road between the two villages
it overlooks the higeron river, the natural park and is approx. two or three kilometres from Frigiliana and Nerja respectfully.

This villa, casa lotea sits at the back of La Molineta and is a great three bedroom family home, it has good terraces a nice pool, great accommodation throughout and
overall feels like a home and is a fabulous place to stay at for a family or a group of friends on vacation in this area.

The accommodation is all on three floors, self contained in it's own private gardens, loads of private parking and has a 6 x 3.5m pool (aprox).

Inside, the accommodation on the ground floor consists of; a great sized salon/dining room and kitchen.
The main salon has a 3 seater and 2 arm chairs centred around an open fire, there are also units with SKY TV & Spanish digi box.

The dining area with seating and space for 6 sits at the other end of the salon overlooking the rear terrace and pool.
Mostly in Summer guests take food outside to dine al fresco on the shaded terrace overlooking the mountains.

The kitchen, is a good size, perfect for a family. It's fully equipped; hob, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher.. all the conviniences of home. Also the kitchen has a small 3 seater table, ideal for breakfasts / quick snacks without having to sit formally or outside. There are three (3) double bedrooms, 1 with double bed and two others with twin singles.. all the bedrooms are a good size, spotlessly clean and have more than adequate storage space.

The (gated for child safety) swimming pool is aprox 6 x 3.5 meters, and nicely shaped. It's surrounded by plenty of sunbeds, seating and shade off parasols. The views of the back of the gardens are huge across the National Park into the Higeron river and a great walk (about 1.25 hours) down to Nerja and the sea. The gardens are beautifully kept, and the rear exit leads to the private parking / driveway with space for about 7 cars. At the top of the terrace (adjacent to the table and chairs) is an proper brick built barbecue and outside kitchen with sink.


This villa's location is ideal to visit and holiday in Frigiliana, but also if you love and want to be part of Nerja and it's nightlife and buzz, it's as equally accessible. Enjoy your time and later, a short taxi ride back home. Escape the maddening crowds for the peace of a hillside retreat. It's also easy to jump into the car and drive to either Nerja or Frigiliana both of which are a short 5 minutes drive away (around 10 min's walk to Frigiliana). La Molineta also has one of the most charming tappa bars (on the main road). So if you really don't want to walk up to Frigiliana for a drink, there's a great bar almost on your doorstep (it's round the corner!)
