Cortijo Cantucho is a beautiful detached country house that has been recently renovated to a very high standard. The villa is situated just 10 minutes from the centre of Frigiliana in a pretty and very tranquil valley. The house is easily accessed via a country lane recently concreted passing beautiful scenery on the way.
The villa sits in its own grounds in an elevated position with wonderful views, surrounded by vines, olive groves and avocado trees its a perfect retreat, yet its only a short drive to Frigiliana village centre. The resort town of Nerja with its lovely beaches and famous caves can be reached in around 15 minutes.This is a very comfortable villa with a lovely pool and enclosed sun terraces.

The interior of the house has been sympathetically restored to a high standard and has been furnished in a traditional style. The living space on the first floor is open plan with a comfortable salon with a wood burning stove for chilly winter evenings. The dining area sits 6 comfortably and the kitchen although compact has all the required modern facilities: fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine (housed in a separate utility area). Downstairs there are 3 good sized bedrooms (1 double and 2 twins) all with plenty of cupboard space. The family bathroom comes complete with Jacuzzi bath and overhead shower and a separate toilet can be found on the first floor.

The exterior space of this villa is superb and provide plenty of terraces for sunbathing, relaxing, swimming or throwing a BBQ. Directly outside the main living area is a lovely shaded terrace with BBQ and small summer kitchen with a hand made dining table crafted by the owner of this lovely cortijo. And all the terraces offer lovely views.
The pool with roman steps is in an enclosed terrace with plenty of space for sunbathing and with lovely views of the Frigiliana countryside.
Private parking is at the front of the house and there is ample space for 2 or more cars, electronic gates have been installed for ease of access. This house is in an ideal spot, its close to the village and yet in a rural location giving you the best of both, its a great base and for the fit it is walkable to the village in around 30 minutes (longer if you choose to stop at the country Inn nearby for refreshments)!
