La Huerta is an attractive and established property on the edge of the village, which has stunning views towards the sea.

The house is approached by a private gated driveway and surrounded by its own avocado orchards.

The accommodation is: one twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the ground floor a further double and twin single bedrooms both air conditioned
upstairs which share the second family bathroom.
The open plan living area is comfortable and has TV, music centre and a wood burning stove
The kitchen is well equipped with an large adjoining dining area

The front of the house is covered by terrace area with al-fresco dining table and matching chairs with a large BBQ area.

 The pool is surrounded by terrace with steps to an upper balcony for sunbathing There are fabulous views down the valley to the sea.
The house is but a few minutes walk from the heart of the old village of Frigiliana with all its amenities, nestling
in the foothills of the Sierra Almijara mountain range and the mediterranean sea.

This villa is not short on accommodation:

Enter via private gates to the villa and leave your car in the private drive-way (room for 4 cars), walk through the gardens
down to the villa via the front sun-terrace, with plentiful sun shade and a fabulous al-fresco dining area.
To your right is the house and beyond is the swimming pool, sun terraces and private gardens.

The front door of the villa leads into a small hallway and then into the salon, with dining area and American galley style kitchen to the rear.

The house has been beautifully furnished in a typical Spanish rustic style and for winter evenings a log fire provides warmth and comfort.

There is European satellite TV providing news items in English.

The kitchen is well equipped with hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and plentiful work surfaces.

To the rear of the house, are both the master double bedroom with bathroom en-suite and stairs
to two further large bedrooms and family bathroom.
This house is an ideal location if you want to visit Frigiliana, a base to explore Andalucía, or the route of wine,
travel to the local villages of Competa, Torrox or Nerja or just stay at home with a glass of sangria,
soak up the sun and relax next to the pool.

The walk from La Huerta into the old Moorish quarter of the village is 5-10 minutes, mostly uphill.
Your only neighbours in this house are Giermo and Antonio who own the other two houses on La Huerta.

The lane takes you down into the baranca where you may bump into Paco the local mule man or Sebastian the goat herder,
both will give you warm greetings typical of the people of this region.
